SUMMARY:The Relevance of Psychosocial Knowledge for CBRNe Emergency Planning
DESCRIPTION:On May 15th and 16th\, under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union\, the National Crisis Centre (NCCN) and the Federal Public Health Service will host an event entitled ‘The Relevance of Psychosocial Knowledge for CBRNe Emergency Planning’ in Brussels\, Belgium. \nThis seminar will highlight the significance of psychosocial knowledge for the development of CBRNe emergency planning. Guest speakers will discuss the challenges and potential solutions in human behaviour that are somewhat predictable\, with the goal of aiding practitioners in emergency planning. \nBeginning on the evening of May 15th\, a reception will be held to welcome participants. On May 16th\, the event will begin with lectures held in the morning and workshops in the afternoon to facilitate the exchange of best practices. \nThis event\, conducted in English\, is open to professionals in the sector\, people with relevant emergency management backgrounds or academics with an interest in the importance of behavioural sciences for emergency planning. \nTo register\, please fill out this form.
